Rickie Lee Jones Live at Theatre Carré, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, September 3rd 1979.
Digging through my box of old tapes I stumbled into this recording.
A very good radio broadcast from her first promo tour.
Recorded and broadcasted by KRO Radio.
Also known as bootleg “On Saturday Afternoons in 1979”
One song, “Something Cool” was later released on the cd release of Girl at Her Volcano (first released as a 10 inch EP)
In those days I had a little Philips MONO cassette recorder, I recorded a lot on.
Later I bought a Marantz which I used heavily.
But now, here is a another stereo recording, taken from two cassettes, which gave me the possibility to patch a fade in and out on the last track.
Track 06 Sentimental Journey is taken from my early seed and is in mono.
